Rules for Woodstock Junior Golf League

1. Golfers must wear a shirt with a collar. Jeans and cut-offs are not allowed.

2. Safety must be a priority. Swinging a club or hitting a ball in a reckless manner may result in a suspension from the league.

3. Golf is a game of honesty, integrity, and good manners. Cheating or inappropriate behavior (e.g., profanity, club throwing, disregard for the course and the golf club’s facilities) may result in a suspension from
   the league.

4. Golf teaches etiquette, e.g., one should not talk or move when others
   are swinging or walk in another golfer’s “putting line” on the green.

What to Expect When You Join Our Junior League

1. You will play on one of the most picturesque and best-conditioned courses in the Hudson Valley!

2. You will have a chance to learn the basics or improve your golf game (depending on your golf experience) and will make new friends by playing with other young people who love golf!

3. You will have access to professional lessons, club fittings, and a fully stocked Pro Shop!

4. Each week you can participate in contests (longest drive, closest shot to the pin, and longest putt), with a chance to win prizes and Pro Shop credit!

5. You will be outdoors, in the fresh air, having fun!
