Men's
Ft. Opening Scramble- April 19
8:00 AM Breakfast; 8:30 AM Shotgun start
Foursomes, selected randomly by computer,
include one layer from each of four handicap groups. Threesomes
may participate under special rules. Fivesomes are not permitted.
Pro shop credit is awarded to the first four positions. First
place ties are broken by a match of cards using USGA procedures.

The Cinco
de Mayo scramble was played at Woodstock on Saturday May 5th ,2007
First place went to the team of Terry Breitenstein, Bill Harder,
John Shlussler, and Dennis Collins with 65. John Rizza, Marc Opfell
and Dan Riso won second with a 66. Bert Ketchum, Kinny Post,Ellen
"Queenie" Densen and Webb Leonard took 3rd place with a 66 Terry
Breitenstein won closest to the pin on the 4th at 9 feet 5 inches.

Points Tournament- May 17

AM shotgun start
The Men's Spring Points Tournament was played at the Woodstock
Golf Course on Saturday May 19th ,2007 . First place was won by
Alex Sharpe with a plus 9. Peter Fine took 2ed with a plus 5.
Bill Harder and Enrico Palazio were tied for 3rd with a plus 4.
Jerry Washington was alone in 4th at plus 3. Ron Valle and Bill
Hitzig tied for 5th with a plus 2. Closet to the pin on # 4 went
to Jerry Washington at 6 feet 10 inches .

Memorial Tournament- May 31

AM shotgun start
A two-man better ball format is used, with teams drawn randomly
from two handicap groups. Players receive strokes based on 100
percent of their handicap.
A trophy is awarded for first place.The top 25% of the field receives
pro shop credit. Prizes are awarded for closest to the pin on
hole numbers 4 and 13. First place ties are broken by a match
of cards using USGA procedures.

2007 Woodstock Memorial Tournament , a two man better ball contest,
was played at Woodstock on Saturday May 26th , 2007. On a match
of cards Peter Fein and Mike Shaughnessy took first with a net
57. and second place went to Jack Mizerak and Michael Schulman.
Ed Stover and Steve Vercammen got third with a 58. Fourth place
was won by Glenn Miller and Dennis Collins. with a 60. Kieran
Bell and Jim Lodoice captured fifth with a 61.

The format is two-man better ball, with players receiving strokes
based on 90 percent of their handicap. Teams are drawn randomly
from two handicap groups on the Wednesday preceding the tournament.
The top 25 percent of the field receives pro shop credit. Teams
may compete for team skins for an additional fee. First place
ties are broken by a sudden death playoff.

Woodstock
-- The 4th of July Flag Tournament was played on Wednesday July
4th at Woodstock First place went to John Fraham who reached the
fringe of the 20th green . Ron Hicinbothem won second place reaching
some 30 yards from the 20th green. Third went to Peter Fine, fourth
to Henery Berleith and fifth to Steve Vercammon al of whom werer
in the 20th fareway. There was a five way tie for 6th place with
Jerry Washington, Terry Brietenstein,Alex Sharpe, David Beidler
and Paul Sinnott all in the hole on the 19th green

Woodstock Cup- July 5th
The
format is individual stroke play in two divisions, gross and net.
Players with a handicap of 10 or under must compete in the gross
division only. Players with a handicap over 10 will normally compete
in the net division, receiving strokes based on 90 percent of
their handicap. They may compete in both divisions for an additionals
fee of $25.00, for a total fee of $50.00.
A trophy is awarded for first place in each division. The top
25 percent of the field receives pro shop credit derived from
entry fees collected for that division.

Hutch Tournament- July 26
Woodstock-- The 2007 Hutch Tournament,
a two man better ball competition ,was played on Saturday July
21 ,2007. Terry Breitenstein and Bill Harder took first place
with a net 62. Jim Lodolce and Carl Vanwagenen , Chester Robbins
and George Pattison and Henry Berleith and Kinny Post tied for
second at 63. H Clark Bell and Kieran Bell,Phil Clark and Ed Stover
and Alex Sharpe and Bob Sinnott tied for third with a net 64.
